The NSW government has recently announced the new rules for State Nomination. The system is an improvement on the scheme that operated under the old subclass 489 visa process.

NSW have done away with delegating Nomination approval to the RDAs in NSW; centralising the approval process in their head office. This change greatly simplifies nomination options, creating greater consistency and certainty for clients. It also provides greater security and integirty for clients by removing unskilled and inexperienced staff from this important administrative decision making process.

Priority is now given to people already working in regional NSW, as well as those with qualifications obtained in the regional areas. For further information please contact a legally qualified practitioner.
